In the third quarter of 2024, the Maps and Navigation category on the Android platform in Ghana witnessed notable trends across its top applications. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides a closer look at the performance of these leading apps.

Bolt: Request a Ride by Bolt Technology maintained a consistent presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 10K and 14K. A peak was observed in early August with downloads reaching approximately 14.3K. The app's weekly active users varied slightly, hovering around the 540K to 570K range, indicating a stable user base throughout the quarter.

Yango — different from a taxi demonstrated a dynamic download trend, starting at 10.8K in early July and peaking at 17.9K by late September. Active users ranged from 67.3K to 78.1K, with noticeable growth towards the end of the quarter, suggesting a gradual increase in user retention.
